Description:

Decaffeinated Black (Loose Leaf) is a robust decaffeinated black tea.

Taste:

Davidson's Decaffeinated Black (Loose Leaf) is a full-bodied black tea brew, as rich as its caffeinated counterpart.

Origin:

Davidson's decaffeinated teas go through a natural CO2 extraction process, also called effervescence. This process maintains tea flavor and antioxidant levels. Davidson's organic decaffeinated teas are sourced from the Putharjhora Tea Garden in Darjeeling, India.

Ingredients:

Organic decaffeinated black tea.

Brewing:

  1. Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil.
  2. Add 2 grams of tea to a infuser, or straight into an 8-oz. mug.
  3. Pour the heated water into the mug.
  4. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Strain tea leaves, or take out the infuser.
  6. Sip and enjoy Davidson’s organic tea.

Great decaf for blending
Andrew L. (Bellevue, WA) 5/5/2018 9:05 AM
Organic decaf teas are never as good as the real thing. However, I use this all the time to make 1/2 caff versions of my favorite teas. It has a mild version of a ceylon tea.

Not my favorite decaf
CLAIRE HOLDAWAY (Grass Valley, CA) 3/26/2018 5:25 PM
This tea has a slight flowery scent and flavor, similar to Earl Grey, which is not what I was looking for. Also, it was very crumbly, and I ended up with a lot of "fines" in the bottom of my cup if I didn't use a filter paper. Going back to English Breakfast for my black decaf.
